My name is Rodger Dee and I have lived and worked in Darwin since 1981.

When I first arrived in Darwin I  worked in the construction industry,  having     completed  an  apprenticeship as    a carpenter before leaving New Zealand.

I have spent more than 17 years developing and managing Gardens Park Golf Links here in the city, and believe my business experience will be of use to Council.

My belief is a booming tourist industry is critical to our future. It creates jobs for locals and has flow-on affects for all of us. I firmly believe we could rival Cairns as a destination domestically and internationally.

I have some good ideas for this wonderful city and want to make sure it remains clean and green. Our parks are a treasure but they can always improve and I think we are moving in the right direction.

As far as my personal interests go, obviously in my line of work there's golf and of course my family who enjoy Darwin as much as I do.
