Sale of vehicles on roads

Advertising of cars, boats or other vehicles for sale on public road reserves or other public places within the Municipality of Darwin is an offence under By Law 101 of the Darwin City Council By Laws 1994. Council officers patrol on weekdays and weekends to identify such offences, and law-breakers face a $50.00 on-the-spot fine.
