Bollard Installation on Bradshaw Terrace

Works will soon commence to install bollards on the median island along Bradshaw Terrace between Rowling Street and Linton Street.

The safety of our community is our top priority. We are addressing the safety issues created by vehicles parking on the median island along Bradshaw Terrace.

The purpose of a median island is to enhance safety by separating opposing traffic and providing refuge for pedestrian crossing.

What we are doing

Bradshaw Terrace is a busy road with high pedestrian and traffic usage. The current situation where drivers use the median island as a parking space is unsafe for both pedestrians and vehicles. We are addressing this safety issue by installing bollards on the median island.

The installation will commence Monday 24 October 2016 and is expected to be completed within 3 weeks.
