Dog attacks

Should you be threatened or bitten by a dog you should report the incident to Council phone 8930 0600.

Details of the incident will be recorded and you will be asked if you wish to give a written statement. Giving a statement facilitates action by Council which may include the dog's owner being issued an infringement, the dog being entered on the Prescribed Dog Register and enforcement of specific fencing requirements. Because of these fencing requirements second offenders are rare, however should a second offence occur further conditions will apply .
