Caught Read Handed - Youth Reading Group

Would you like to be part of a reading group for young people?
Snacks and drinks and plenty of discussion about favourite authors, books, movies, graphic novels and short stories.

When? Every second Thursday, 4.00 - 5.00pm @ Nightcliff Library

September/October Holiday Program

Darwin City Council Libraries have a great program of craft activities, dancing and Storytimes lined up for the school holidays with “Wild Wild West” as its theme.


The program is designed to provide loads of fun for all in the 5-12 age group.

Kaos Youth Only nights

Held on the last Wednesday of the month, 6pm to 9pm at Karama Library, Kalymnos Drive, Karama.

For ages 12 to 18 years

This is a free event but bookings are essential. Book at any Darwin City Council Library.

Storytimes

Separate Storytimes are held for 12 months to 2 years (Squirmers), and 2 years to school-age (Pre-schoolers)

City Library

  • Pre school Storytime - Monday 10am all year
  • Squirmers - Wednesday 10am all year
  • Squirmers - Friday 11am all year

Karama Library

  • Squirmers - Thursday 10am all year

Nightcliff Library
