Kerbside collection days

Recyclables are collected from houses on the same day as domestic garbage but on a fortnightly cycle. Collections are usually maintained on public holidays. Any changes are notified in the local press. Council offers a special service on assessment for people with disabilities. Please remember to put your bins out the night before collection day, as collection starts from 6.00am in some areas.

Monday
Fannie Bay, Parap, Stuart Park, Winnellie, Berrimah, Coonawarra, Darwin City, Ludmilla, The Gardens, Larrakeyah (including the barracks), City Valley and Bayview Haven.

Tuesday
RAAF Base, The Narrows, Millner, Coconut Grove, Rapid Creek, Nightcliff, Brinkin, Alawa.

Wednesday
Jingili, Moil, Nakara, Tiwi, Wagaman

Thursday
Wulagi, Wanguri, Leanyer

Friday
Anula, Karama, Malak, Marrara, Northlakes

Bin placement

• Place bins at least one metre apart on kerbside.
• Make sure the wheels are facing your property.
• Do not place bins behind cars or other vehicles.
• Do not place bins under low hanging branches or within one metre of any obstruction eg. sign post.
• All bins must be out before 6.00am on the day of collection.
