2021 International Women's Day Walk
City of Darwin, along with the United Nations Association of Australia NT Division, and Northern Territory Government Office of Gender Equity and Diversity, are proud to host the 2021 International Women's Day Walk and Celebrations on Saturday 6 March under the theme Women in leadership: Achieving an equal future in a COVID-19 world #ChooseToChallenge
The program of events includes:
8.30am | Gather in the Civic Centre courtyard (Harry Chan Avenue, Darwin CBD) |
---|---|
9.00am | The International Women's Day Walk gets underway with a short walk through Darwin CBD (including The Mall) |
9.30am | At the conclusion of the walk, join in the International Women's Day Celebrations in Civic Park (Harry Chan Avenue, Darwin CBD) – there will be fabulous guest speakers, the Fun Bus, entertainment, information stalls, food and beverage vendors, and more! |
Free bus travel on the Darwin urban bus network (between 7.00am to 5.30pm on Saturday 6 March 2021) is available to participants who show an International Women’s Day flyer.
All are welcome and encouraged to attend. Remember to wear purple, bring weather and sun protection, and a water bottle.

All about women - Satellite Event
All About Women is Sydney's favourite feminist gathering. City of Darwin Libraries is live streaming directly from the Sydney Opera House so you don't need to be there to experience the main stage action of All About Women.
