Garden of Reflection

Brought together through the council and a specially selected focus group, the Garden of Reflection is a space designed for peace. Becoming a focus after a tragedy in the Jingili Community, it brought to light there are no places like this in Darwin and the significant importance to provide a space for the community.

Offering an opportunity to connect with one-self while enjoying the benefits of the outdoors, Council hopes the community enjoys this Garden as a place to take time out of everyday life for peace and reflection.

Situated near the Community Orchard in Jingili Water Gardens,it will showcase an array of locally sourced plants, flowers and trees. There are multiple areas within the garden to offer privacy for more than one person(s) visiting the space.

If you are experiencing thoughts of suicide or harming yourself, talk to someone now. This can be your family or friends, or one of the many professionals available to help.
