Our goal is to strive for equity in the provision of services and facilities across Darwin.

We facilitate an Access and Inclusion Advisory Committee, host the Disability Awareness Festival and provide accessible equipment for community events.

We recognise our community's young people as diverse, dynamic and requiring specialised support, and have set the direction of our offerings through our Youth Strategy: Young Darwin 2016 - 2021.

City of Darwin - For Children

We provide a variety of services and events for children including Fun Bus, Fun in the Parks, and children’s activities at each of the four Libraries. Council also sponsors seven Child Care Centres in the provision and maintenance of the buildings.

We work with other organisations and groups across Darwin to coordinate and promote resources and events that support our seniors. We strive to promote active ageing and strong community connections.
