National Children's Week celebrates the right of children to enjoy childhood. It is also a time for children to demonstrate their talents, skills and abilities.

National Children's Week is an annual event celebrated in Australia held around the fourth Wednesday in October. A diverse range of events and activities are organised in Darwin.

City of Darwin is proud to host events and activities for our local children showcasing their abilities and talents.

Some events require bookings, tickets are limited due to COVID-19 restrictions. 

Children’s Artwork Exhibition

The exhibition is on display at Council's four libraries between Saturday 24 October to Sunday 29 November 2020.

  • Darwin City Library, Civic Centre, 17 Harry Chan Avenue, Darwin
  • Karama Library, Karama Shopping Centre, Kalymnos Drive, Karama
