Darwin Living Lab

Jointly funded by the Australian and Northern Territory government and the City of Darwin.

The Lab looks at innovative and practical of cooling our city using heat mitigation research bringing together experts in the field,  CSIRO, Federal Government, NT Government, and City of Darwin

An interactive display showcasing these heat mitigation initiatives is now showing at the Activate Darwin Hub in the Smith Street Mall. The exhibition features displays from the Northern Territory Government, City of 

The exhibition will be open to the public for a month and will include a program of lunchtime information sessions presented by experts.

The exhibition presents an opportunity for the community to learn more about heat mitigation strategies and engage in dialogue. 

A community open day will be held on 27 March to inform the public about how to create a cooler Darwin.
