About this guide

We've put together this guide for anyone wanting to host an event within at any of our locations or facilities. Whether your event is a private gathering or a large-scale community event, we always recommend contacting our Customer Services team to discuss your needs.

Our guide takes you through some of the processes and permits that may be required when planning an event. Depending on the size and scale of your event, you may require a permit. For example, using equipment such as staging or marquees at your event may require a permit, but a small gathering may not. Whatever your needs may be, we can guide you in the right direction.

Have a browse through the guide to learn more about what City of Darwin can do to assist you. We even have some great equipment that is available for loan or hire.
