A City of Darwin Library card number and your password.
Not a member? Join online. Forgot your password? Reset it.A compatible device with internet access.
For compatible tablets or smartphones: The Libby app can be downloaded free from your device's app store (e.g. Apple App Store or Google Play)
For Macs and PCs you can access Libby directly through your browser via libbyapp.com
For ereaders you will need to use your PC or Mac and download Adobe Digital Editions. You will also need to register for an Adobe User ID. Titles can then be transferred to a variety of ebook devices. (e.g. Kobo, ereaders)
- Download the app and log in

1.Download the Libby(by Overdrive) app to your device

- Apple App Store for iPhones and iPadsOr visit Libby on your PC or Mac, visit libbyapp.com
2. Add the library service
The Libby app will ask you if you have a library card. Say yes!In the Libby app, choose 'I’ll search for a Library'. Search for 'City of Darwin Libraries' and select it.
3. Add your library membership details
Enter your membership details when prompted by the Libby app.
Type in your library membership number, and then your password.You are now ready to use Libby, and will not need to enter these details again.
- Troubleshooting

Confirm your log in details are correct.
To log in, use your library card number, including the '000' at the start of the number, and your password.
Double check you have the right password. Try logging in to your library account to check your password is correct. If it does not work, reset your password. Then try to log into the digital library again.Check your app is up to date.
Visit your App Store.
Search for the app.
If the button says 'Update', you will need to update the app. Once you have updated the app, try logging in again.Check your operating system is up to date.
Go to 'Settings' in your device.
Find 'software update' and update, try logging in again.Still not working?
Try turning your device off and on again.
Try deleteing the app and reloading it.
