City of Darwin maintains more than 450km of local roads including associated infrastructure such as storm water drainage, footpaths and driveways. Our aim is to ensure safe, efficient and consistent city traffic flow through well planned and well maintained roads.

Council Roads

We aim to provide a network that best meets the comfort, safety and expectations of all road users and the community as a whole.

Work Programs

Working within a Road Reserve

Major Roads

Darwin's major arterial roads are maintained by the Northern Territory Government Department of Lands Planning and Environment (DLPE).
