Temporary Closure - Chrisp Street gate 

From 02 to 13 November, the gate into the tennis courts on the Chrisp Street side will be closed.

The courts will still be accessible via the gate on the oval side, near the main carpark, toilets, water bubbler and basketball half-court.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Located at the Chrisp Street Oval, recreation facilities include:

• 3 tennis courts, side by side, with fencing around the outside
  • Court One (nearest the water tank) also has two pickleball courts marked out (BYO pickleball court net)
  • 2 x small hitting walls, with murals by Caleb Schatz
• covered basketball half-court
  • with 2 four square courts marked out
• playground at far end of oval
• car parking available

These tennis, pickleball and basketball courts can be used free of charge and bookings are not required. 
They are only available for daytime use, as they do not have lights. 
​They are not to be used for competition or lessons.
Playing of tennis or pickleball takes precedence over other use on the courts. If you are using the courts for non tennis/pickleball related activities and people wish to use them to play tennis or pickleball, you must vacate the courts and ensure that your activities do not interrupt them in any way.
