How do I find a local support service?

The NT Community Directory is a free online source of community information for Territorians seeking help or connection. It’s supported by NT Council of Social Services and the NT Government.

What’s on during the school holidays?

City of Darwin has you covered with our LAUNCH Darwin activities for young people (12-25 years) as well as activities for children at our Libraries and at Fun in the Parks and Fun Bus.

The Northern Territory Government also compiles a Territory-wide school holiday guide with activities for young people which you can search by region so you can easily find out what other Darwin activity providers have on offer.

Know a young person who deserves some recognition?

Find out about some of the awards that are open to Darwin’s young people including Council’s Young Citizen of the Year award. There is no requirement to be a member of a particular educational institution, club or organisation to enter these awards.

Where can I access City of Darwin’s Youth Strategy?

City of Darwin’s 2022–2026 Youth Strategy was endorsed on 30 November 2021. It was developed with the Youth Advisory Committee and focuses on four priorities:
