Councillor Nicole Brown

Nicole Brown is a proud Larrakia woman with a strong commitment to community, collaboration and creating opportunities for others. She believes leadership is built on service, integrity and making a positive contribution.

Her career spans government, business, media, community organisations and the not-for-profit sector, providing a broad perspective across a range of industries and sectors. As the founder of her own consultancy, Nicole advises organisations on strategy, communications, stakeholder engagement, governance and organisational capability. She is also halfway through completing a Master of Social Change Leadership, where her research focuses on leadership, succession planning and developing stronger pathways for future generations.

Alongside her professional work, Nicole has extensive governance experience through serving on numerous boards, advisory groups and committees. These roles have strengthened her understanding of strategic leadership, organisational accountability, sound decision-making and the importance of working collaboratively to achieve shared outcomes.

Nicole has a particular interest in leadership development, community engagement, governance and building strong partnerships that create lasting social and economic outcomes. She enjoys supporting organisations to navigate change, strengthening relationships and helping individuals realise their potential through mentoring and professional development.
