Darwin's tropical lifestyle lets us spend time outdoors in some of the most beautiful spaces in Australia. City of Darwin is activating our fabulous outdoors with our vibrant street food program and inviting vendors to participate in the 2025-26 Street Food Program.

Street food businesses can apply for a permit at one of our locations around Darwin. Applications open annually in February with the program beginning from 1 April. Applications will also be considered throughout the year on a case-by-case basis.

Street Food Program 2025-2026 Expressions of interest will take place 14 - 28 February 2025 for the Street Food Program beginning 1 April 2025 to 31 March 2026. Vendors may apply throughout the year for any remaining trading sites as they become available.
