Sam is the popular owner and operator of the iconic Mad Snake Café.

The café serves as a refuge for veterans, board game enthusiasts and lovers of 1980s nostalgia.

As a war veteran himself, having served in the Army from 1998 until 2004, including two tours of East Timor, Sam is extremely passionate and knowledgeable about veteran’s affairs.

He is committed to making meaningful change within his ward and in Darwin more broadly.

Outside of Council, Sam is a father of two children and enjoys fishing and walking.
