Library Lounge invites adults to enjoy a relaxed morning of creative workshops, guest speakers and social connection. Each month features a fresh theme led by our Programs team.
What you can do
Experience a variety of hands-on activities. Hear from local experts including gardeners, wildlife, carers and authors. Enjoy social connection over tea, coffee and biscuits.
How to join
All adults are welcome. Bookings may be required for some sessions so please check our event listing or contact the library.

10:00 am - 12:00 pm every third Tuesday of the month
Casuarina Library
Join us for a laid-back morning where adults can try out a new activity or listen to a guest speaker – all for free! Whether you want to learn something new, revisit an old interest, or simply shake things up, Library Lounge is the place to be.
Come and join us in a relaxed setting, meet new people, and try something different. It's a chance to connect, explore, and have a good time.

Seniors Month
Seniors Month is held in the Northern Territory each year during the Month of August as a way to celebrate older people and their continuing contributions to our community. All City of Darwin run events are free of charge for NT Senior cardholders.
