As part of the Darwin 2030 City for People. City of Colour strategic plan, City of Darwin is committed to creating a vibrant and creative city.  A key action under this plan is to deliver programs and services that foster a cohesive, connected and culturally enriched community.  We provide ongoing support to the AANT Centre through an annual funding agreement, partnering on programs and events, and advocating for the Centre’s role in delivering services that strengthen community cohesion and cultural connection.  AANT Centre are also funded by the Northern Territory Government. 

City of Darwin welcomes buskers to our city. Council recognises busking and street performing as an artform and acknowledges the contribution it makes to the cultural fabric of our local area.
