Request for Proposal: Development of Five-Year Access Strategy for the City of Darwin
The City of Darwin is pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for organisations to undertake community engagement and develop a comprehensive five-year Access Strategy (2025-2030).
We are currently inviting proposals from consultants to create our Access Strategy. The strategy will provide a well-developed framework to support individuals with disabilities and other access challenges, ensuring they can engage effectively with the City of Darwin and access all facets of our organisation's operations.
The successful consultant will:
- Review relevant Access and Disability plans, policies, and reports, conduct community engagement for input.
- Implement stakeholder activities, including workshops, focus groups, and interviews and ensure inclusivity.
- Prepare an Implementation Plan for the Access Strategy 2025-2030, detailing the City of Darwin’s roles as a provider, funder, regulator, partner, facilitator, and advocate.
- Develop a five-year strategy with clear, actionable steps to enhance accessibility, and ensure the final Access Strategy 2025-2030 is available in accessible formats.
If your organisation is dedicated to improving accessibility and inclusivity for people with disabilities, we encourage you to submit a proposal. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of many and contribute to a more inclusive community.
For further details on the tender process and submission requirements, please refer to the attached tender document. We look forward to your participation and to working together to create a more accessible City of Darwin.
Request for proposal closes: 16 August 2024
