Darwin's first public accessible adult change facility is at Jingili Water Gardens alongside all abilities play space. The change facility provides:
security and privacy for people with high support needs adult size, height adjustable change table hoist
The facility is accessible using the Master Locksmith Access Key (MLAK)
- Accessible Flooring

Accessible flooring can be hired for use at community events to assist with access for people with mobility issues, where a flat surface is needed.
How to Use
The flooring rolls out and clips together to create accessible pathways to suit your space.
Dimensions
The flooring is 1.2m wide and comes in rolls of approximately 5 metres in length. There are five rolls making a total length of 25 metres.
The flooring weighs 4.3kg per square metre and 25kg per roll. It requires 2 people to lift.
Terms of Loan
The flooring may be borrowed free of charge by not-for-profit organisations, charities, community groups, and others (at the discretion of Council) where utilised for a community event open to the public within the Darwin municipality.
The hirer must:
Be a not-for-profit organisation, charity, or community group Have $20 million Public Liability Insurance coverage Complete an application form.

- Liberty Swing

There is a Liberty Swing available for use by people who use a wheelchair.
A Liberty Swing, partly funded by Department of Social Services, is located at the Lake Alexander Regional Playground, East Point Reserve, Fannie Bay.
The Liberty Swing is designed for use by people of all ages and has room for a wheelchair to be strapped into it as well as a pop-up internal seat with a seat belt attached.
The swing is locked when not in use for safety reasons. The facility is accessible using the Master Locksmith Access Key (MLAK)
- Peter Mahony Fishing Platform

The Peter Mahony Fishing Platform is located on Casuarina Drive, near the Rapid Creek footbridge. The fishing platform is designed specifically for wheelchair access. Peter served twenty-two years on the City of Darwin Disability Advisory Committee and was still an active member at the time of his passing on 19 May 2014. Peter was an avid and very prominent advocate on behalf of people with disability and was instrumental in advocating for the construction of the fishing platform. The platform was named in his honour on International Day of People with Disability, 3 December 2014.
The Fishing Platform is fitted with adjustable panels to allow casting from a low height. The panels are kept locked for safety associated with the reduced barrier height; however, keys to unlock the adjustable panels are available free of charge.

- Mobility charging stations

City of Darwin is committed to creating a more accessible, inclusive, and welcoming environment for people when they are out and about. This includes designated areas for people to safely recharge their electric mobility scooter or wheelchair battery, free of charge.
The RECHARGE Scheme was developed to support people who use electric mobility scooters or wheelchairs.Â
City of Darwin has coordinated RECHARGE outlets across the municipality.

Nightcliff
Nightcliff Swimming Pool has an aqualift chair, shower on pool deck, and accessible male and female toilet.
Parap
Parap Pool has ramps to access both the 25 metre and 50 metre pools, with a 120 kilogram aquatic wheelchair provided. There are two accessible change rooms with toilet and shower in each.
Casuarina
The Casuarina Aquatic and Leisure Centre will have ramps to access both the 25 metre and 50 metre pools, an aquatic wheelchair, pool hoist, an adult change facility and three accessible change rooms, each with a shower and toilet.
