We work with other organisations and groups across Darwin to coordinate and promote resources and events that support our seniors. We strive to promote active ageing and strong community connections.

You can search and browse for services for seniors on the NTCOSS community services directory here.

Seniors Month

Seniors Month is celebrated in the Northern Territory in August every year to celebrate older people and their continuing contribution to our community.

All events are free of charge for NT Seniors cardholders.

Libraries

Our libraries offer a range of services, programs and materials for seniors. Come in and read or borrow books, magazines, large print books, spoken word books and more. Looking to get online? We provide free access to the web, and you can hire a computer or smart device while you're at the library!

If you require some assistance in using a computer or smart device (i.e. a smart phone or tablet), we're happy to help. Don't forget to ask about Book Clubs, Knit 'n' Knatter and our many other programs and classes!

Healthy Darwin

Our Healthy Darwin program is all about living a healthy lifestyle. The program is packed with low-cost activities, including activities developed especially for seniors, and is a great chance to learn new skills, develop friendships, and connect with other members of the local community.
