Seniors month

Every August, we celebrate Seniors Month to honour the ongoing contributions older people make to our community. It’s a time to reflect on the wisdom, experience and positive impact that seniors have in shaping our lives and the world around us.

Throughout the month, the City of Darwin offers a range of free community events for NT Seniors Card holders. These events provide an opportunity to connect, have fun and enjoy a variety of activities designed to promote health, well-being and lifelong learning.

Whether you’re looking for social events, educational workshops, or entertainment, there’s something for everyone. Seniors Month is all about fostering inclusion, connection and celebrating the valuable role older people play in our community.

NT Seniors Card holders are invited to join in the free events throughout August. It’s a wonderful chance to get involved, meet new people and enjoy the activities.
