Expressions of Interest open for City of Darwin East Point Reserve Advisory Committee

Do you have knowledge and experience in balancing the environmental, cultural and historic aspects of natural areas?

Do you want to advise on the implementation of the East Point Biodiversity Management Plan and future proofing the Reserve to benefit locals and tourists alike?

City of Darwin invites Expressions of Interest from individuals wishing to nominate for a community position on our East Point Reserve Advisory Committee.

Two positions are available for individuals from the community who have knowledge and experience in the environmental and community sectors of Darwin.

The committee will meet four times per year and provides advice to assist City of Darwin’s delivery of the East Point Reserve Biodiversity Management plan.

This is a competitive process and a number of criteria will be considered, including:

  • The range of skills and knowledge across the committee membership.
  • The diversity of experiences in both environmental, historical and cultural planning of public open spaces.

Express your interest by completing the online form below.

Applications close Friday 5 April 2024.
