City of Darwin Libraries and Fun in the Parks have put together a range of activities to keep children and young people engaged over the mid-year school holidays.
Interim Chief Executive Officer, Simone Saunders, said the school holiday program is aimed at catering for all age groups.
“We have programs for children as young as three months right through to older teenagers,” Ms Saunders said.
“Things kick off on Sunday with an open day at Casuarina Library from 11am.
“Our team has plans for a range of activities at the library for the whole family this Sunday. We’ve got everything from cultural dancers, to story time, craft, Lego, BBQ, entertainers, and a STEAM zone.
“And that’s just day one of the 21-day program.”
Starting on Sunday, the school holiday program runs through until Saturday, 16 July.
It includes Fun in the Parks, board games, STEAM activities, hip-hop workshops, Drumming Monkeys, Lego Club, cultural workshops, and movies
