This exhibition marks the first time photographic artworks have been featured in the Lightboxes, offering a unique lens into the Northern Territory’s vibrant subcultures, events, and communities.
Iconic Territory beautifully captures the essence of the Top End’s dynamic energy, from drag culture and bush tucker expeditions, to family reunions and outback horse races. Helen Orr’s deep love for the Territory shines through in her work, providing an insightful portrayal of its diverse personalities, people, places and vast landscapes, showcasing her exceptional storytelling and photographic skills.
