Get ready to celebrate Halloween like never before with City of Darwin’s Halloween Haunted House Disco at the Malak Community Centre on Thursday 31 October 2024, from 4:30pm.
Hosted by the Waters Ward Elected Members, Councillor Kim Farrar and Councillor Sylvia Klonaris, the Halloween Haunted House Disco promises to be an unforgettable evening of fun, frights and fang-tastic activities.
Lord Mayor Kon Vatskalis said the Halloween Haunted House Disco will be a spine-chilling evening for all ages to enjoy.
“Join us at the Malak Community Centre where ghouls, goblins and ghosts will come together for a night filled with Halloween festivities,” Mr Vatskalis said.
“Show off your ghoulish grooves and dance to the monster mash at the Haunted House Disco or tickle your senses and get slimy with our interactive sensory lab.
“There will be face painting available to transform people into their favourite spooky characters and fang-tastic prizes on offer for best dressed,” he said.
City of Darwin Libraries team will host an eerie storytelling session and there will be a free BBQ for people to sink their teeth into.
For those looking for more thrills and chills, the Nightcliff Library will host a special screening of 'The Host' at 6pm for over 18-year-olds only.
The Halloween Haunted House Disco is a free, family-friendly event open to all.
