Library Closure

All City of Darwin Libraries will be closed on Monday 9 June 2025 for the King’s Birthday public holiday.

Normal opening hours will resume on Tuesday 10 June 2025.

Return chutes will remain open throughout the closure.

We apologise for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.

Christmas is coming and that means City of Darwin offices will be closed from 5pm Tuesday 24 December 2024, reopening 8am Tuesday 2 January 2025. 

Kerbside collection services will operate as usual throughout the festive period. Other operational services will continue to operate during this time with reduced hours.

Darwin City, Karama and Nightcliff libraries will be closed from 5:00 pm Tuesday 24 December, reopening 9:00 am Thursday 2 January 2025.
