AGREEMENT CONDITIONS
The Service Provider delivering an activity as part of the Healthy Darwin Program agrees to:
- Support and cater for participants presenting with low levels of fitness and ability.
- Provide motivational, fun and safe programs and activities to ensure participants are inspired to participate regularly.
- Not promote food or beverage products considered to be high in sugar, salt and saturated fat, tobacco or alcohol.
- Keep in force a policy of public liability insurance for an amount not less than $20,000,000 in the name of the Service Provider or Auspice.
- Provide the activity within the City of Darwin municipality.
- Hold current appropriate qualifications and experience (as required).
- Share advertising materials for Healthy Darwin activities i.e. social media posts uploaded by the Recreation Services Team.
- Provide your organisation’s logo for use in joint promotion of programs.
- Notify the Recreation Services Officer via healthydarwin@darwin.nt.gov.au immediately if program details change or if you are unable to undertake an agreed session.
- Ensure participant attendance sheets (supplied by City of Darwin) are completed and forwarded to the Recreation Services Officer on a monthly basis along with a Tax Invoice. Failure to provide appropriate attendance records may result in payments being withheld.
During the term of the Agreement, City of Darwin agrees to:
- Promote your organisation and activity as a key Healthy Darwin provider.
- Promote your programs and activities through various sources including Healthy Darwin webpage, and Healthy Darwin and City of Darwin Facebook pages.
- Pay the Service Provider a set fee of $50 per class inclusive of GST (includes planning, set up and pack up time). In addition to the aforementioned set fee, the service provider may collect up to $10 per participant per hour (or on a pro rata basis depending on the duration of the class).
