Asphalt Resurfacing Works – Rapid Creek Road, Millner
City of Darwin wishes to advise you about upcoming road resurfacing works planned for the north-east section of Rapid Creek Road. The resurfacing will take place between the intersection of Spring Street and Rapid Creek Road, extending to the intersection of Barry Place and Rapid Creek Road.
These works aim to maintain and improve the local road network, ensuring smoother traffic flow, reducing wear and tear on vehicles, and improving overall road conditions for all users.

For the safety of the public and workers, these works are scheduled to commence on the night of Thursday 12 June 2025, and are expected to be completed within 2 days, weather permitting.
Traffic control will be in place, please follow all traffic control signage and directions of traffic controllers. Traffic controllers will also manage minor impacts to foot/cyclist traffic which will be re-directed and managed with signage and supervision. Access to properties may be restricted at some times; we apologise for any inconvenience caused.
Our contractor will use machinery to perform the works, which will result in some noise disturbances throughout the construction period.
