Garamanak Basketball Court – Flooring Tile Installation

City of Darwin wishes to advise works will soon commence on the Garamanak Basketball Court located at 25 Damabila Drive, Lyons.

These works are part of the Better Suburbs program and will result in the installation of a sports tile to the basketball court and the refreshing of the back board.

Please refer to the below diagram of the areas affected.

The works are scheduled to commence from 30th November 2023. Works are expected to be completed in approximately 2 weeks – weather permitting. The basketball court will be fenced and unavailable to the public for the duration of the works.

There will be a minor impact to foot/ cyclist traffic during this time when small trucks are accessing the site. Appropriate signage and supervision will be in place for the safety of all impacted.

Your safety is important, so please follow all traffic management instructions.
