Installation of Speed Bump & Signage – Banksia St/Casuarina Dr, Nightcliff
In response to road safety concerns on Banksia Street/Casuarina Drive, Nightcliff, a recent traffic investigation concluded that traffic mitigation measures are required to be put in place.
City of Darwin wishes to advise that works will soon commence on the installation of a speed bump and signage on Banksia Street/Casuarina Drive, Nightcliff. Please see a diagram of the affected areas below.
The works are scheduled to commence from Monday 21 November 2022 and are expected to be completed within three weeks, pending weather conditions.
Traffic control will be in place throughout the duration of the project to ensure public safety while the works are being undertaken. Pedestrian access throughout the project construction period will be maintained.
