Installation of speed hump and associated signage – Atkins Drive, Darwin

City of Darwin contractors will be undertaking works to improve road safety as part of the Blackspot Program. The works will see the installation of a speed hump and associated signage.

Works are scheduled to commence from mid-December 2023, during the holiday closure. Works are expected to be complete within one week from commencement, pending weather conditions.

While traffic will still move through the works, there will be some minor traffic impacts with stop and go controllers. Traffic controllers will also manage the minor impacts to foot/cyclist traffic which will be re-directed and managed with signage and supervision.
