Landscape Treatment - Camphor Street Verge, Nightcliff

City of Darwin wishes to advise that we will be doing landscape treatment works at Camphor Street Verge near Oleander Street. We will be establishing new trees and dry land grass to mitigate erosion, prevent vehicle parking and provide shades.

Please see map below, indicating the work area. 

The work is scheduled to start on Monday 04 August 2025 and is expected to be completed in two weeks’ time, weather permitting.

Traffic control devices will be in place throughout the project to ensure public safety. There will be minor impacts to parking and pedestrian walkways. 

Our contractor will use machinery to perform the works, which will result in some noise and dust throughout the construction period. However, we have made every effort to schedule the works to minimize disturbances.
