Notification of Stormwater Works – Freshwater Road - Mayhew Crescent, Jingili - Completed September 2023
City of Darwin advises that stormwater upgrade works will soon be taking place on Freshwater Road at the Mayhew Crescent intersection. See below map indicating the location of the works.
The works are scheduled to commence from 16 August 2023 and are expected to take a number of weeks to complete.
Works will take place between the hours of 7 am and 5 pm. Machinery will be used and some noise can be expected over the duration of the works.
Traffic control will be in place to assist road users with minor delays and diversions to be expected.
No access from Mayhew Crescent to Freshwater road while the works are occurring.
Freshwater Road traffic will be detoured through Jingili Water Gardens carpark with stop and go controllers during work hours (7am – 5pm).
The carpark will not be available for use during this time.
