Playground Equipment Installation - George Park, Fannie Bay
City of Darwin wishes to advise that we will be installing playground equipment in George Park, Fannie Bay. This work is the part of council’s playground revitalisation program aimed at making Darwin a vibrant and healthy community. The new playground will provide children with a safe space to engage in physical activity and encourage social interactions.
The George Park Playground is located at 26 George Crescent, Fannie Bay. The works are scheduled to begin on Monday 9 June 2025, and are expected to be completed by 28 June 2025, weather permitting.
Traffic control devices will be in place for the duration of the project to ensure public safety while the works are being undertaken with minor impacts to parking and pedestrian walkways.
Our contractor will be using machinery, which may result in some noise disturbances throughout the construction period. However, we have made every effort to schedule the works to minimize disturbances.
