Playground Revitalisation –Tiwi Park Playground, Tiwi  

City of Darwin wishes to advise that we will be replacing the rubberised softfall at Tiwi Park Playground, Tiwi. This playground is located at 41 Tiwi Gardens, Tiwi NT 0810.

Please refer to the map overleaf, indicating the work area.

This work is a part of council’s playground revitalisation program aimed at making Darwin a vibrant and healthy community. The new playground will provide children with a safe space to engage in physical activity and encourage social interactions.

The works are scheduled to begin on Monday 22 June 2026 and are expected to be completed in two weeks’ time, weather permitting.

The playground will be closed during the work.

Traffic control devices will be in place for the duration of the project to ensure public safety. Machinery will be used during construction, which may result in some noise disturbances. However, we have made every effort to schedule the works in a way that minimises disruption.
