City of Darwin wishes to advise you about upcoming road resealing works planned for Henbury Avenue and sections of Rocklands Drive, Tiwi. These works aim to maintain and improve the local road network, reduction of wear and tear on vehicles, and improvement of overall road conditions for all users.

Works will commence from Sunday 26th April to Saturday 09th May at night between 8pm and 6am.
Traffic control devices will be in place during the works and some disruption to traffic may be experienced. Road closures/detours will be in place with residential access retained. Road users are requested to exercise caution in this area and comply with all traffic management controls in place.
Access to the hospital will be maintained at all times. However, hospital staff are advised to allow additional travel time and follow all detour signage.
Access for emergency vehicles will be maintained to ensure no disruption to emergency response. A contingency shall be in place during Henbury Avenue full road closure to permit emergency vehicles to travel on the opposite side of the road under escort when necessary If you have any further queries, please contact us on 8930 0300.
