Stage 3 Bradshaw Terrace Landscaping - Completed June 2022
Works have commenced on the stage 3 landscaping of Bradshaw Terrace centre median from 56 Bradshaw Terrace to Nakara Terrace. Works are scheduled to be complete by July 2022, weather permitting.
This project is a $260,000 initiative as part of our Better Suburbs Projects being delivered by City of Darwin and local contractors.
The project involves the removal of two mahoganies due to poor condition (removed February 2022), replaced with eight rain trees to provide a large canopy of shade over the street, planting various species of plants, improved drainage and soil to provide significant root growth for plantings, and irrigation.
Traffic control and devices will be in place throughout the duration of the project to ensure public safety while the works are being undertaken.
Machinery will be used by our contractor to perform the works and it is likely that you will experience some noise disturbances for the duration of the construction period. City of Darwin has made every effort to schedule
works to minimise any disturbances you may experience during this time.
We appreciate your patience and consideration during this period.
