Walkway Trail Reflective Lighting Installation – Various Suburbs
City of Darwin wishes to advise that reflective road marker lights will be installed along the edges of six walkways across various suburbs, as part of our Darwin’s Place and Liveability Plan.
The scope of works also includes pavement artwork along selected walkways, pedestrian movement data collection, community surveys to gather public feedback and assess the project’s success.
This project aims to enhance the visual appearance of the walkway while providing safety and discouraging antisocial behaviour around the walkways.
Onsite works commenced on 11 September 2025 and is expected to be completed by mid-November 2025.
