Every year, this exhibition invites artists to reflect on human rights through creativity, expression, and storytelling. The theme “See My Ability” challenges us to look beyond assumptions and limitations to recognise the strengths, talents, and humanity in every individual.
Too often, people are defined by what they cannot do rather than celebrated for what they can do. This is especially true for people with disability, whose identities are too frequently framed by barriers rather than possibilities.
This theme is open to all artists of all ages — whether or not you live with disability yourself. We welcome diverse interpretations and encourage every artist to consider how the idea of “ability” connects with their own experiences, communities, and creative practice.
