Kahlin Oval Stormwater Drain Extension - Completed July 2022
City of Darwin advises works are about to start to extend the drain at Kahlin Oval cricket nets. These works are required for the Darwin Cricket Club project to install a new storage shed next to the nets.
The works include:
- Demolish existing headwall and grate
- Extend drain approx. 7m
- Install new pit with steel grate.
Works have commenced are expected to be complete Friday 22 July 2022.
Works will take place Monday to Saturday between the hours of 7.00am to 5.00pm.
Contractors will be using machinery that may cause a noise disturbance for the duration of the works.

Installation of the shed is expected by September 2022. A further update will be provided to residents when more definite dates are known.
