Walkways Resurfacing Program 2026-27
Walkway upgrades and resurfacing have been identified as one of the road and pathway programs in the Municipal Plan 2026-27 and will deliver a $65,000 program.
These works form part of the City of Darwin’s annual Walkway Resurfacing Program, which upgrades bitumen walkways to reinforced concrete. Reconstructing the paths will provide safe and effective links for cyclists, pedestrians, wheelchair users and people with prams, while reducing long-term walkway maintenance costs.
A total of two walkways have been identified for the 2026–27 Walkway Resurfacing Program:
-
Walkway 150 – Tennison Crescent to Driffield Greenbelt/Street, Anula
-
Walkway 152 – Caledonia Street to Yanyula Park, Anula
