Pranayama, or breathwork, is one of the eight limbs of yoga and offers powerful benefits for both body and mind - including improved sleep, reduced stress, and a deeper sense of awareness.
In this 90-minute workshop, we’ll begin with a 60-minute yoga sequence focused on classic chest-opening postures, designed to prepare the body and nervous system for breathwork.
From there, you’ll be guided through 20 minutes of pranayama practices, specifically Ujjayi and Viloma breathing, allowing you to experience how conscious breath can calm the mind and support balance and clarity.
We’ll finish with a Q&A, giving you the opportunity to ask questions and deepen your understanding of the practices.
What you'll receive:
- A guided yoga sequence to prepare for pranayama
- Instruction and experience in Ujjayi & Viloma breathing
- A take-home copy of the sequence
- A clear breakdown of how to set up and practise the breathing exercises at home
- A relaxing tea station is included so you can continue to unwind before or after your session
All props are provided. This workshop is suitable for all levels and is ideal for anyone looking to slow down. build a sustainable breathwork practice, and feel more relaxed and grounded — both on and off the mat.
