Experience the rich diversity of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander art, design and culture at the 18th Darwin Aboriginal Art Fair (DAAF)! Returning August 9-11, 2024 to the Darwin Convention Centre on Larrakia Country, AND online -there are now even more ways to experience the Fair. Ethically purchase artwork direct from over 75 Indigenous owned Art Centres from Australia’s most remote desert and coastal regions. DAAF is FREE to attend, and 100% of all sales made go directly back to the Art Centres, supporting the artists and their communities. Immerse in the vibrant Public Program of traditional dance performances, material demonstrations, workshops, children’s activities, artists talks, and more! This year you can also purchase a ticket to attend the exclusive Opening Ceremony on the evening of the 8 August, to celebrate alongside the participating artists, and have a first chance to buy from the Art Centres. In the days leading up to the Fair, enjoy the iconic Country to Couture fashion runway (6 August), and the prestigious National Indigenous Fashion Awards (7 August).
