Fundraising for: Variety – the Children’s Charity NT Darwin’s most iconic Australia Day celebration is back — and bigger than ever!
The Hot 100 Australia Day Ute Run is celebrating 25 years with a spectacular convoy of colour, community, and classic Territory utes. The much-loved street parade will wind its way from Hidden Valley Raceway, through Darwin’s northern suburbs and Palmerston, before finishing at the Noonamah Tavern.
This annual event proudly supports Variety – the Children’s Charity NT, with funds raised going directly to helping Northern Territory children facing illness, disadvantage, or living with disability.
Participants are encouraged to deck out their utes, dress up, and get involved, with prizes awarded for the best-decorated utes and costumes.
Event Details
• Date: Australia Day, Monday 26 January
• Start: Hidden Valley Raceway
• Entry Cost: $30 per ute (up to 5 people) or $60 per ute including a merchandise pack (singlet, stubby cooler & sticker)
Early Bird Bonus Register by 15 January for a chance to win one of 5 exclusive starting grid positions at Hidden Valley.
The first 100 utes through the gate will line up alongside sponsors and Variety Bash cars, enjoying green lights all the way in a police-escorted convoy to Noonamah Tavern.
The celebrations continue at Noonamah Tavern with live music, great food, and an incredible display of utes, making this a true Territory community celebration.
