In celebration of World Preeclampsia Day, we are organising a community Awareness Walk for Women and Families to raise awareness about preeclampsia, a serious and often overlooked pregnancy complication that affects many women worldwide.

This event will bring together women, families, healthcare professionals, and community members to learn about the warning signs of preeclampsia, support affected families, and promote early recognition and care. Through this walk, we aim to start important conversations about maternal health and empower women with knowledge that can save lives.

Importantly, this will be the first preeclampsia awareness walk ever held in the Northern Territory, marking a significant step in raising awareness about maternal health and pregnancy complications in our community.

Together, we walk to support mothers, protect babies, and raise awareness about preeclampsia.
