Children's Crossing - Packard Street, Larrakeyah - Completed June 2021
City of Darwin will be undertaking further works to improve road safety and private property access in the vicinity of the Larrakeyah Primary School’s Children’s Crossing on Packard Street. These works include:
- A larger No Right Turn Into School Car Park sign at the location of the existing right-turn preclusion sign;
- A new sign forewarning of the No Right Turn Into School Car Park prior to the Larrakeyah Terrace intersection;
- Some relocated signage;
- Modifications to the existing island at the School Crossing to provide private property access; and
- Additional line marking in the form of an unbroken centre line from the crossing to the School car park entrance and broken yellow no-stopping line in between existing signage denoting temporary parking restrictions.

The installation of the new signage is expected to commence from Friday 21 May 2021, with the balance of the works to follow shortly after.
