Procurement is the process of buying goods, services and works. This can include a range of things from roads, footpaths, recreational and community facilities, trees to heavy vehicles, office equipment, professional services and more.

Current open tenders
City of Darwin's TenderLink Portal provides details of current/upcoming tenders, lodgement details and notifications. You can also register to receive email notifications of tenders advertised by City of Darwin.
Tenders must be lodged electronically through the TenderLink Portal and must be received prior to the prescribed closing time.

Any canvassing of Elected Members or staff in relation to this contract shall result in the tender being automatically disqualified. City of Darwin reserves the right to accept or reject any tender.
Procurement Reporting
City of Darwin provides details of the following in accordance with its requirements under the Local Government (General) Regulations:
- contract variations:
- where a tender was not required, however the total cost exceeds $100,000 or
- where a contract requiring a tender is varied by 10%.
- exempt procurement greater than $100,000
- contracts awarded following a public tender or quotation process.
